Hi Ryleigh - thanks for sharing some art work you did over the weekend. You are really good at drawing flowers. I love the combination of colours you have used & detail you have added to the petals. I agree, it does look similar to a flower that a clown would wear! How long did it take you to draw? Maybe you could add the steps you took to draw it to your post. Enjoy your week. Morena Ryleigh. You drawing of a flower is very colourful and eyecatching. I like how you have used different colours for the petals. Drawing and colouring is very good mindfulness. ReplyDeleteI like the way you drew the flower that shows a perfect symmetry. The color combination are also well-chosen. Do you know that your flower reminds me of Asian mooncakes? We use the baking mould with similar flower pattern to create the shape for the cakes.
Have you thought of drawing more flowers as a way to decorate your daily stuffs? It could be a plain t-shirt, a vase, a mug, etc. What do you think?

You're very good at drawing flowers. To be honest I think this would be a good design on a jewellery box maybe?
This reminded me of the time I did some drawings and drew a rose for my aunty.
Why did you choose a flower. Was it because its most easy or just an idea.
[Question(s)] How long did it take to draw? Do you think you did a good job?
Whats your favourite thing about it? What colour do you like the most on it?
I think the colours I chose actually go quite well with it. You colour better than me that's for sure, I cant even stay in the lines that well!
You did a very good job on this drawing I say.

ReplyDeleteI really like the flower design and I really like the colours chosen for it. This flower reminds me of the flowers I used to draw. The pointed petals look similiar to my flowers. Maybe next time you could try to add more flowers, bees or even butterflies to add some more detail. If you chose the colours what would you've chosen? Keep up the great work.
